Poštovani članovi Komisije za IT,
Ovaj sam link dobio od kolegice Jagode Ille.
Što mislite o tome?
Srdačno,
Tomislav Silić
I am writing to share the results of IGI Global's recent Library Technology
Innovation Survey as well as provide information on the upcoming IGI Global
presentations at the ALA Midwinter Meeting in Boston this weekend.
IGI Global's Librarian Technology Innovation Program
<http://www.igi-global.com/newsroom/archive/role-librarians-play-support-tec
hnological/2347/> kicked off with an in-depth survey of over 200
librarians, seeking to identify how librarians are currently using
technology and how they encourage technological growth in their libraries.
In addition to the survey, the program also includes the Library Technology
Innovation Profile Series to spotlight librarians who are today's leaders
and specialists in knowledge management advancement and technologies.
Library Technology Innovation Survey Results:
The survey findings reveal that supporting technology-related projects is a
very high priority for librarians, however, they find it difficult due to
lack of staff and resources to keep their institution up to date on
technology innovation goals. These issues are causing libraries to fall
behind with current technology research and support.
